The Negev is a desert region that covers the southern half of Israel. The least populated area in Israel, it is home to the nomadic desert people known as the Bedouin and unique African wildlife. The Negev offers some spectacular scenery with captivating sites and places.

Kfar sagol is located in the north of the Negev in a moshav that is open and green with over 500 trees and pools.

About the project

Sagol Village is a unique eco village  built from mud and local materials. Located in the north part of Israel , it is nestled in a moshav one hour from tel aviv. Sagol-Eco Village was created by a young couple with a dream.

Kfar Sagol hosts the SAGOL festival twice a year. This festival is aimed at the spiritually minded, featuring professionals who conduct a wide range of workshops and meditation sessions, all oriented toward self-growth and self-improvement. People from all over the country and the world gather to participate in more than 50 workshops inluding movement and body awareness workshops, yoga, tantra, shamanism, meditation and art workshops and many more. Every year the festival also welcomes spiritual teachers from Israel and abroad.

There is also a children's tent with varied activities for kids of all ages. The Sagol festival will most probably take place from 1 - 2 October 2010.
