Location
This project is located in Yanuh, a Druze village in the north of Israel. Rich in holy sites and ancient ruins and surrounded by the splendor of the Upper Galilee, Yanuh is a touristic treasure. Visitors can be sure of a powerful, enchanting experience as they venture into the winding Druze alleyways and step into the past. Druze settlement in Yanuh began in the 18th century. Ceramics found here indicated that the site has been intermittently inhabited since the Bronze Age, with the current village built on the remains of Byzantine, Early Islamic, and Crusader settlements
About the project
There are two different summer camps hosted in Yanuh. The duration of each is 2 weeks and the participant may choose to volunteer for one or both programs at no additional cost.
