Ireland is a European island, located just west off the coast of England. Ireland’s tourism is growing, and the welcoming attitude of its inhabitants and their abundant hospitality play a large role in this. Ireland is also well-known for its lush, green landscape.

Cork is a historically-rich, cosmopolitan city in the south that locals often refer to as Ireland’s “real capital city.” Others refer to this city as the “foodie capital” of Ireland. Artsy cafes can be found on every block, along with bundles of young, friendly people. It is the second-largest city in the country and is a fantastic travel destination.

Many of the local arts centers offer opportunities for children, adults and young adults to engage in art programs through workshops and classes. They also host poetry readings, dance events and concerts. Volunteers on this program will be involved in various tasks, ranging from organizing workshops to assisting with marketing campaigns.

Some of your tasks may include:

  • Assisting in art workshops facilitation
  • Providing administrative support
  • Assisting in organizing events with partner organizations
  • Supporting marketing campaigns such as those on social media
