Volunteer in Peru

Come along and volunteer in Peru where you will get the chance to sharpen up on your Spanish skills with native speakers. Peruvian customs principally come from Amerindian and Spanish civilizations although influence from other cultures is also present. As such a distinct and vast country, the third-largest in South America, Peru borders Ecuador, Colombia, Brazil, Bolivia, Chile and of course the Pacific Ocean. Peru is home to a number of World Heritage Sites. Volunteers can make time to hike the Inca Trail through the Andes Mountains and visit some of the ancient and sacred sites of this wonderful country including: Machu Picchu, the Nazca lines, Caral, Kúelap, Chavín de Huántar and Chan Chan to name just a few. read more
