Founded in 1935, is a private university in Long Island, New York and is Long Island’s largest private university. . Comprising ten schools, including the Northwell School of Medicine and Deane School of Law, Hofstra is noted for a series of prominent Presidential conferences and hosting several United States presidential debates. It’s alumnus include former governor of New York, David Paterson, actor Christopher Walken and director Francis Ford Coppola.
