Program Highlights:
Your Schedule at a Glance (Minimum one-week commitment):
Arrival Day, Sunday: Arrive at Suvarnabhumi Airport (BKK). Volunteers will be picked up by members of the local team and transferred by a public bus and private shuttle to the accommodation in Hua Hin. Volunteers will settle in and get to know one another.
Day 1, Monday: They day will begin with a welcome orientation, followed by a Thai culture and language lesson. Following this lesson, volunteers will have a tour of the area and explore Plearnwan Market. After lunch, volunteers will have free time at one of the nearby beaches.
Days 2-5, Tuesday-Friday: Following breakfast, volunteers will work in a local child care center or kindergarten to assist teachers with child care tasks such as singing, playing games and more. After a lunch break, volunteers will teach English to older students, aged 6-18. Lessons will end at around 3:00 or 4:00 PM. On Tuesday and Wednesday evening, volunteers will go to the night market and can enjoy local street foods. On Friday evenings, volunteers will visit the Cica Market, filled with food, art exhibitions, handmade gifts and live music.
Days 6-7, Saturday and Sunday: For volunteers staying only one week, departure is on Saturday morning. Volunteers who are extending will have the weekend free for rest and exploration. See "Travel Highlights" below for travel recommendations!
Remaining Weeks: The remaining weeks will follow the schedule of volunteering Monday-Friday and having weekends free. Departures are on a Saturday.

Hua Hin is one of Thailand's most popular beach destinations. It is located 280 kilometers southwest of Bangkok, in the southern Thai province of Prachuap Khiri Kha. Hua Hin is the perfect destination for beach lovers.
Volunteers will work each morning in a childcare center or kindergarten. The afternoon volunteer work will take place in primary or secondary schools.

WiFi is available in public areas.

Laundry:
On-site laundry machines can be used for an additional fee.

Accommodations:
Participants will stay in shared, single-gender rooms with up to four people per room. Each room has a hot shower, fan, air conditioner and ensuite bathroom. Volunteers can upgrade to private rooms or shared rooms with air conditioning for an additional fee.

Food:
Three meals a day are provided during the week and two meals a day are provided on the weekends. The meals will be Thai style, consisting of rice and noodle dishes. Most of the meals will be vegetarian, with meat offered on occasion.

- Children 11 and under receive 50% off the Total Project Cost
- Each child 11 and under must be accompanied by at least one adult, and one adult can supervise a maximum of three children under the age of 18.
- Families can get a private room for an extra US$100 per week.
