Volunteering with animals and wildlife is a rewarding, fun and unique opportunity. Volunteers can work closely with their favorite pets at animal shelters, or observe unique animals they never thought they would have the opportunity to see. Volunteers on this project work with a range of animals, from monkeys to lions. Experience Zimbabwe’s natural beauty while making a positive impact on the delicate African ecosystem.

3rd week Free in October to December 2022 | Volunteer at Australia’s only Heritage Listed wildlife sanctuary, situated in natural bushland and teeming with native wildlife. The local team provides a lifelong home for rescued animals, breeds endangered species to release and restore wild populations, and delivers “conservation through education.” The sanctuary is located just an hour by car from Sydney, or two hours by train.

Journey to the unbelievable island of Naifaru for sea turtle rehabilitation! Join marine conservationists in their efforts to rescue and rehabilitate turtles and help protect the coral reefs, as well as enjoy spending time in one of the most idyllic places in the world.

3rd week Free in October to December 2022 | Sea turtles in Sri Lanka are endangered. The species is threatened by human poachers as well as predators. The Sri Lankan government has approved the creation of hatcheries in order to protect the species.
